Farming

As a fast growing charity we are concerned about project sustainability and are constantly looking for new ways to develop business plans that are focused on providing a social and financial return on investment.

We are looking to develop land just outside of Manila so that we can grow our own fruits and vegetables as well as raise poultry for eggs. 3,000 sqm will provide enough fresh fruit and vegetables and eggs to sustain the PCF's feeding programme as well as produce surplus for the farmers. We hope to start this in 2010

Rubbish Collection

Business waste is not yet segregated and paper products are mixed with the cities rubbish collection. We plan to hire an open top truck to collect this waste and bring it back to a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) where it can be safely segregated, packed, and then sold direct to the Paper Recycling Factory.
