Once literacy skills have been mastered in our classes, we then run sewing courses where we teach mothers how
to cut and sew, after which they go on to make all the childrens school uniforms.
Shopping bags and handbags, pencil cases, and aprons are also being sewn from recycled juice bags and printed tarpaulins.
Soft toys and greeting cards are also being made as a means of providing an income for the parents of the PCF school children.
Jewelery making and handicraft classes are taught and the goods are sold both locally and in the UK.
The jewelery makers are usually adults who are elderly, disabled or lone parents with young children
because they this is often their only source of income.
Electronics Courses are also held regularly. Men and women are taught by a certified electrical engineer
to repair fridges and televisions, mobile telephones, fans, computers, as well as how to read electronic
circuit diagrams.
