PCF scholars strongly value our gift of education, as they know it will help create a path towards the life they want for themselves and their families.
Rose Bell is one of our successful graduates, however the start of her journey was tough. She had to quit school due to lack of funds. A friend introduced her to PCF’s Alternative Learning System (ALS), which is designed for out-of-school youth who want to continue their education. After completing ALS, Rose Bell pursued her university studies under our sponsorship programme.
She was awarded with a Bachelor’s degree in Education in 2017 and is now employed as a senior high school teacher. Rose also volunteers as our ALS teacher, helping young people like her to beat the odds and go for their aspirations.
